The Sous Chef will be responsible for day-to-day supervision, preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times to the standards required by the hotel.

Tasks & Involvements:

Ensuring the smooth running of kitchen processes
Adhering to and working to the required standards
Coordinating and supervising staff under his/her control
Ensuring a high standard of workmanship at all times, presenting five-star quality food to guests
Ensuring that products and ingredients are professionally prepared and quality controlled
Preparing purchases and orders
Training new staff
Contributing to the development of menus for events and programs

The Ideal Candidate:

At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
Professional qualification
Proficient command of English and Hungarian languages
Varied and diverse range of cooking skills and methods of cooking
Experience in creating food displays/center-pieces
